Rehabilitation after Surgery
Post-operative rehabilitation is essential for a safe return to function. An individualized, gradual rehabilitation plan is followed.
The Restoration Process
Rehabilitation after surgery is a structured and gradual process, aimed at safely returning the patient to their previous level of functionality — or even improving it — whether it concerns sports activities or daily life.
The therapeutic approach focuses on reducing pain and swelling, restoring strength, flexibility, coordination and functionality, while minimizing the risk of re-injury.
We undertake restoration after:
• Arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery
• Arthroscopic meniscus surgery
• Shoulder surgeries (tendon ruptures, instabilities, subacromial decompression, etc.)
• Elbow surgeries
• Wrist and hand surgeries
• Rehabilitation after fractures
• Ankle surgeries
• Hip surgeries
Rehabilitation is individually tailored to the needs of each patient, the type of surgery and their goals, with a focus on safety, quality of movement and long-term functional recovery.
